When driving in low gears if I come to a stop the engine begins to idle very rough. When I hit the gas while this is happening it is slow to respond and once it reaches 2000 rpms there is a clunk. If it is idling rough and I floor it, the engine kicks right out of it and returns to a normal idle. Could this be the O2 sensors?

Hi mhuntere, Welcome to 2carpros and TY for the donation
Lets start by checking and testing the idle air control motor, clean out the EGR and PCV valve and also test the throttle position sensor.

Thank you I just got a used engine put in and this occured before and is still happening. I talked to the mechanic who installed the engine and asked which parts he used from my old one on this one and one of the parts was the throttle position sensor. He is checking it out for me this week
