2001 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

my ram 1500 rear wheels making a poping noise. i jacked it up and both wheels can be moved in and out a little. is this the wheel bearing or what?

Are you refering to the front or rear wheels? Where does the sound come from?
