where is the overdrive solenoid located?

The overdrive shift solenoid is located in the pan of the transmission here is a guide to help get you started and the location of the solenoid in the diagrams below.

Below you will find the process to not only locate the solenoid but replace it as well. You need to remove the valve body to do this so that is included as well.

Diagram is for automatic transmission overdrive sensor. I'm looking for Overspeed switch/sensor on manual transmission. Looking for Overspeed Switch/Sensor, not overdrive sensor.

The switch is the sensor.
