Seems like when it starts to get a little cold out my truck idles high even after the engine warms up.

Has the check engine light come on? THere is a temp sensor that determines how rich or lean the fuel mixture needs to be based on ambient temp. If it is bad, it could cause this type of a problem.

Without a code, it is a guessing game until the light comes on or the part finally goes. At this point, I feel it has something to do with the temp sensor, but I don't want you to start throwing money into parts until I am sure. Keep running it to see if the light eventually comes on. IF it doesn't and the problem gets worse, let me know.
