2001 Dodge Ram headlight problem

right side dim headlight doesn't work I;ve replaced the buld the socket and the plug the bright works but no dim.

You will need to trace the power wire to the socket from the socket back until you locate where the power is lost. I am assuming you have already checked to make sure the socket is getting power. Also, keep in mind this could be a head light switch or multi function switch on the steering column causing the problem.
