Front brake rotors a re warped or rusted on the back sides. There are a number of possible causes, but two of the most common are Chinese rotors and improper lug nut tightening.

Cast iron parts made in the U.S. are "aged" for 90 days before the final machining process. Chinese rotors are cast, machined, and shipped. They age on your truck and often warp within a few months. They are usually fine after another machining.

A common mistake do-it-yourselfers make is failure to use a torque wrench to tighten lug nuts. Uneven clamping forces and heating and cooling cycles lead to warped rotors. Have them machined, then torque them to specs with a torque wrench.
