I've had to replace the front driver side hub twice, I don't see any recalls notices. Is there something I can do to prevent a 3rd replacement?

Get an alignment, and check your ball joints and tie rod ends, and center link for play.
Any of these components worn out or damaged can cause a hub to malfunction.
