2000 Dodge Ram no oil pressure

oil gauge was going up and down then started knocking. took valve covers off and found dried oil all in top of moter. replaced all the lifters /push rods and rocker arms and cleaned the top of all dried oil. then changed the oil pump still no oil pressure.

Possible lower end problem
pressure getting lost in the bottom
