2000 Dodge Ram gas milage

Hello, I have a 2000 dodge ram pickup 4x4 5.9 . looking for ways to improve gas milage. I have heard that you can change the setting in the truck computer to increase milage but it decreases the towing power. is this true ? And if so what is the code to enter?

yes they sell chipsets that go in it. you cannot just enter a code to change it, you will have to buy a chipset and the controler to tweek how you like, check with JC whitney.
