We recently bought a 2000 Ram Van B3500. It ran fine for the first month or so, then died in traffic. The problem turned out to be a bad PCM which I ordered and replaced myself.

Now the van seems to run fine, but the Malfuntion Indicator Light is on. I performed the on/off, on/off, on with the key and came up with code P1765. After some research I found out that this means 'Switched Battery". What does switched battery mean? How serious is this problem? Is this something that I could fix myself? If not what should I expect my mechanic will want to do to fix it?

First of all thank you so much for your donation.Your best bet would be to take it in to have it looked at.I posted the trouble tree for it and the possible cause's for the code.Let me know what they find.I also emailed you the info.
