1999 Dodge Ram side window glass

The side window glass becomes disengaged from the lifting mechanisn track as the window is lowered thus hanging in air only by the weatherstripping and eventually falling into the door chamber. How is the glass attached to the lifting mechanism?

Use an adhesive caulk. It should hold it in place.
