Engine Mechanical problem
1999 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 that was involved in minor front end collision. I need to replace the radiator mounts, can this be done at a shop etc. or do I need to take it to the dealership?

Is it the actuall radiator that is broken or the rad support?

The radiator is damaged but that isn't the major issue. In order to replace the radiator, front bumper, and grille I need to replace the bent rad mounts/support

THe rad support takes some time to replace. It is welded at the top and mounts the the frame at the bottom. If it is really bad, the only thing you can do is replace it. If it's not too bad, you may be able to straighten it with porta power jacks designed for body repair.
