Hello, I have a 99 dodge ram 1500, v8 5.9l. The check engine light is on, so I had the code ran, it said that piston 1 is misfiring. However, when we left the code reader on and ran the truck, the misfire goes away at a hirer rpm. So it is only happening at an idle. What do you think?

A misfire in a specific cylinder should lead you to check the spark plug, compression and injector for that given cylinder
