I have a 99 Dodge Ram. Its a 5.2 liter 4x4 with approx 130000 miles. I came home the other night with no problems, then 2 days later I went to start the truck and nothing happened. All the lights in the interior work fine but none of the normal dash lights or radio come on, even in the accessory mode. Reading over your other posts and answers I have a feeling it is the ignition switch. I have no experience relacing an ignition switch and am apprehensive about doing it although I feel I am mechaically inclined. Is this a fairly simple operation?

Chances are it is the switch. It is an involved process because you need to disassemble part of the steering column. If you do it, I recommend getting a good repair manual with step by step instructions and pictures to identify parts. You can check on line here under car repair manuals. It's a lot cheaper than purchasing one.
