Drive Train Axles Bearings problem
1999 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 1999 dodge ram and when I put it in 4x4 it locks in just fine. When I drive it in four wheel drive it clicks in and out of four wheel drive repeatedly as i keep driving. linkage seems tight and it seems to have good vaccume at the front axle but i can not check the vaccume as i am driving.

If i had to guess, I would say the vacum modulator on the front axle has a leak. Check it for leaks. Let me know what you find.
