When I turn on my A\C and start driving, whenever I apply the gas pedal, the flow of cooled air stops from the vents and disappears though some air slightly comes from the defroster/windsheild

You have a vacuum leak. The vents are actuated by vacuum. When you accelerate, the vacuum drops in the engine thus making it even less available. Check for leaks under the dash and under the hood.
