I know that the Air conditioner is working because it is blowing cool air from the heater vents above the dashboard but the dashboard front vents are not blowing any air at all. What could be the problem?

the air distribution must not be working, there is probably a loose vacuum line preventing it from operating properly , you will have to go into the dash and inspect the HVAC system for vacuum leaks.
