1999 Dodge Ram AC trouble

The AC doesn't work only drop hot air. Already replace the switch control + condensor. I send the truck to the dealer, the replace the condensor they charging to the insurance 900 and the AC still failed. Can you help me what wrong with the AC. Somebody say is the door when the switch change the AC to heat don't change.

First, I would tell the insurance company they didn't fix the problem. That way they will delay payment and require the dealer to repair the problem.

As far as your friend, he may be correct. The door is referred to is called the blend door. It is located near the heater core and opens and closes based on whether you want AC or heat. If the AC compressor is cycling, chances are the door is the problem.
