1999 Dodge Ram 1500 5.9L Sarts but stalls and backfires for a few minuets. Doesn"t matter if it is cold or warmed up. Push on fuel pedal and acts like it wants to die. Heard the Pre Cat O2 could cause this. Any ideas?

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs start here-
