1998 Dodge Ram Replacing Transmission

I have 98 dodge quad cab. I have a trans that came out of a 01 dodge. when I pulled mine out and set them side by side I noticed that there are some differences like the electrical plugs and the speedometer cable. How can you go about changing these to make it work or is it able to work?

hi no you can,t make it work if plugs are diff so is other things a trans shop can convert it ..
