1998 Dodge Ram oxygen sensor

Hi I have a 98 Dodge Ram 1500 with 130000 miles recently had water pump and radiator and thermostat replaced. When driving it has tried to stall out one one occassion it had stalled completely and would not restart. The check engine light came on and when I had it tested I was told it was the oxygen sensor. Where is it located and how hard is it to replace myself? and is this the reason why it would stall and fail to restart?

An oxygen sensor will not cause that-although it will eat a lot of gas because its not functioning right. Tell them to try again

If the sensor dies altogether, the result can be a fixed, rich fuel mixture. Default on most fuel injected applications is mid-range after three minutes. This causes a big jump in fuel consumption as well as emissions. And if the converter overheats because of the rich mixture, it may suffer damage.
