Truck was running and had trans problems so I changed out the transmission. Now I have no spark when the engine turns over, I checked the coil, asd relay the fuses the crank angle sensor and still nothing. So I plugged in my scanner obd2 and it will power up but it will not link up. Could the computer be bad or not getting power and would a computer from a salvage yard work to see if it will link up. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

If the scanner powers up, the computer is getting power. Have you checkced to make sure the wiring harness to the PCM is tight and undamaged? Also, have you checked to see if the crank sensor wiring was damaged?

Let me know.
