1998 Dodge Ram my transmission and clutch

well i have a dodge ram it has been changed from automatic to manual a while ago,
recently i havent been going too slow, but now i try to put it into first gear but it wont budge so luckily i get it into second after a few tries.
and now it makes weird noises when i press the clutch. need help any suggestions i checked the transmission fluid it has some changed oil 2 months ago, idk what else
