Also I colored it to show you. The red piece seems to be some kind of lock. I can get that to move out and back. Have pulled the whole piece out. Pushed where the blue "x" is pretty much tried everthing I can think of. The darker grey is tab is broke off at about half of its length. I know this truck has had major repairs done in the past before I got it. Can I spray it with something to get it loose? Would just cutting the wires and replacing the connector be an option? I have never had this much problems with a connector in my life. Im starting to wonder if its the connector thats fried and not the fuel pump. Lol.

Even if you splice in a new connector or its fried you still have to remove it. Try powering the pump from the battery to see if it comes on.

Hi guys. That broken gray handle is what needs to be pressed to lift the locking tab. It comes apart quite easily once you become accustomed to doing it. You were right about the red lock that has to be slid to the side to let that gray lever be pushed. With it broken, you can poke a pick under your blue "X" to lift the lock, then pull the connector off. Sometimes dirt and mud gets in there making the job difficult, but it will come apart eventually.
