Electrical problem
1998 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 145k miles

I have a 98 Dodge Ram Atuo 5.2L 4x4. I'm replacing
the Alternator with a 120 amp. I plow snow and have
a Snow-way Plow. The new alternator doesn't come with a voltage regulator. My question is what type of voltage regulator should I get? If the stock alternator is arround 90 amps will a stock regulator work or do
I need a higher amp one. What be the best regulator to get( Name Brand)?

Try going to the parts store and have them look up a 120 amp application for Dodge and use that one. Something HD like service vehicles or 1 ton trucks. Some Dodges, the PCM controls the Alt. Would nees to know exactly your truck, R1500? B1500 Power wagon? Engine size?
