1998 Dodge Ram abs light and brake light

i was just wondering what would cause my abs light and break light to go on at the same time i checked the break fluid and it is fine and i dosnt feel like there is air in the lines the came on after i did my upper ball joints

what would cause those lits to go on

Check to make sure you didn't disconnect or damage an ABS sensor when you replaced the ball joints. Also, recheck the brake fluid to make sure it hasn't dropped.
