When you shift to 4wd, do you have a shifter on the floor or is it an electric shift?

I have 4x4 shifter in floor. Also when we replaced ball joints and was putting front axle back in we had trouble getting passenger side axle back in dont know if that has anything to do with it. Thanks

The only thing I can think of is there is a slide that engages the axle. It must not be engaging. It could be stuck or not aligning.

I hope I helped. Let me know what you find. Everything other you have checked and seems to be working. That is the last think I can think of at this point.

I look forward to hearing from you.
Joe
