Engine Performance problem
1998 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

when ever I accelerate the oil gage needle drops a little pass 0 and the check gages alarm comes on. Once I ease up on the accelerating the check gages and the needle go back to normal operation. This has beeen happening for months and even after dropping the oil pump and cleaning it up after replace in it's still e place the problem persists.can U help and tell me how to deal with this problem
