1997 Dodge Ram wont go into reverse

tranmission was rebuilt.. about 6 mos. from then truck will not go into reverse. Installed new valve body and seloniods which did not help the problem. The truck wants to go forward in every gear. What is the problem?

Chech the retaining clip in the low / reverse clutch pack. If it is broken or not attached, you will have drive in every gear.
