1997 Dodge Ram V12 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

my truck keeps blowing fuses in the windshield wipers. i know that there is a wire that is exposed, but how can i find the correct wire. i don't know where to begin looking

will have to open up steering column and inspect wiring at the wiper switch first
