1997 Dodge Ram Power Steering Fluid

I accidently filled my power steering reservoir too full and overflowed it. It reads past the full line all the way to the cap on the stick. Will it damage anything since I overfilled it?

It will leak. You need to remove the excess fluid. Don't laugh, but a turkey baster works really well for this job.
