Engine intermittently will not idle?

Engine will not idle (intermittent), but will restart immediately. NO check engine light. I have looked for vacuum leaks but can't find any. This happens for a week or so then is okay for awhile. Then the problem re-occurs.

When it first occured, I put a can of "Seafoam" fuel injector cleaner in the fuel tank then drove it for about 400 miles. This did not help.

Please help!

Check the idle air control motor, throttle position sensor and the coolant temperature sensor to include the EGR

I agree with RASMATAZ, it sounds like the IAC valve is dirty or needs replacement, this guide can help you as well,
