Brakes problem
1997 Dodge Ram V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic

I have a 97 Dodge Ram 1500. There is a puddle under the gas tank in the back of the truck. My husband thinks the leak is coming from the back brake line above the gas tank. He has no brakes and the brakes go all the way to the floor, but the brake tub under the hood is full. How do I find the leak? Besides dropping the tank. I would like to get the line but don't know what line to get.

Yes, that likely is a rusted out brake line. You can't buy those lines. They have to be made and double flared, then bent to shape.
You can buy straight sections of line with fittings on them that may or may not be the right fittings.

DO NOT use compression fittings.
