My 97 Ram has rear-wheel ABS. My brakes have been shaking for about the past week, especially when slowing from high speed. I figured the rotors got warped and planned on replacing them this weekend. However, yesterday, the brake pedal went soft (all the way to the floor almost before engaging) and the ABS light came on. The fluid level is OK - above minimum, but not full. Could the rotors have caused this or is there another problem with the ABS?

Did you hear the ABS actuator engage? If not, it sounds like there is a leak or the master cylender is bad.

Let me know.
