1997 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic 171k miles

hi I have a 97 ram and I cannot figure this out, my heat always worked good and eveything in the past, and for the past couple years no matter what setting I put it on the heat only blows out of the vents on the dash by the windshield (Defroster vents). No Air is blown out of any of the other vents any suggestions? Thnxs

You most likely have a leak in one of the vacuum hoses. Check the hoses in engine compartment between firewall and intake manifold first to see if they are leaking. There are also one-way check valves (2 I think) in those vacuum lines. Make sure they are working properly (you should be able to blow through them in one direction only).
