Engine problem
1996 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Manual 190.00 miles

Should I use the blue glue on both sides of the water pump gasget or just on one side. Where does the hose that comes from the top of the water pump go? It looks like it may need to be replaced but I can't see the other end of it. I can only see like two and a half inches of hose then it goes back under what i believe to be the air conditioner. Please help

When ever I replace a water pump I seal both sides of the gasket. It's very cheap insurance. The bypass hose you're asking about goes into the intake manifold under the A/C compressor. You will need to remove the alternator, unbolt the compressor and set it aside. The remove the bracket the compressor bolts to and you will be able to access that hose.
