Truck starts fine but intermittently will stall suddenly. After cooling down will start again

Hi:

Based on your description, I suspect the crankshaft position sensor is failing. What happens is this. When the sensor starts to fail, it is adversely affected by heat. This can cause the engine to lose ignition spark and stall. Then, you need to wait until it has a chance to cool before it will restart.
