1996 Dodge Ram V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I just put oversized tires on my truck and they are rubbing. I have just ordeed a 2.5" leveling kit which consist of a 2.5" spacer that goes under the front spring, but my question is about the rear lift blocks. My truck already has a 3" lift from factory, so if I order a 2.5" set of lift blocks for the rear, will they stack on top of the already installed 3" blocks or do I need to order a set that are 5.5"s? I have seen a picture of the 5.5" set and it looks like they are a 2 piece set, that is why I am asking about stacking the 2.5" set on top of the already installed 3 " set. Or should I just order the 5.5" set so I will have U bolts that are long enough?

Are the rear tires rubbing? If not, does the manufacturer say you need to add the rear? Chances are it will level the truck for you rather that having the rear sit higher. I know they make a leveling kit for them. It just raises the front so the truck sits level.

Other than that, I would contact the manufacturer that you are dealing with to get their opinion. I don't like stacking parts like that. Infact, we always recommend staying with direct fit parts.

No the rear tires are not rubbing, just the front. The leveling kit I just received actually goes on top of the springs. I will contact the manufacture of the leveling kit about the rear blocks and see what they say. Thanks for your advice!
