Put stop leak in radiator and have a knocking sound. Oil looks fine and have changed the thermostate out just in case it was messed up by stop leak. Where do I go from here, please.

Can you tell aprox where the knock is coming from? Also, if you remove the serp belt and start it, does the sound stop? Do you always hear the knock or only at certain times?

Let me know. NOTE: If you take the belt off to see if the sound stops, only run the engine for a few seconds.
