1996 Dodge Ram not sure

After truck is running with in 30mins I think it gets hot so it won't turn back on until it cools then it starts 6x. Engine will not rotate when attempting to start.

If you hear one loud clunk from the starter, it likely has worn solenoid contacts. If you have the little silver Nippendenso starter, the contacts can be replaced for 20 bucks.
