Headlights will not turn on

My 1996 Dodge Ram 1500 headlights will not come on. I've checked the fuses and wires, found no problems.

They will come on if if pull back and hold back the dimmer switch on the steering column.

Parking lights and all other exterior lights work.

The most likely cause of this is a switch issue so let's run through this testing and then the replacement and let me know what questions you have.

I changed the light switch on the dash board and that fixed my head light problem.
