I have a 1995 dodge ram sport, the other day i was mudding after getting it and the battery flew off the mount and landed on the belt. After pulling it off, there was a 1/4 in gash in the battery with acid on the belt and part of the water pump. My oil pressure also went down slightly. It started up three time that night. The next morning i went to start it and the starter turns over, but there is no ignition at all. Earlier that night while it was idling there was a screeching sound coming from what i though was the ac. Is there anyway i could get it to start before i taqke it to a shop??
