My battery is only a couple of years old and I'm pretty sure it's not the starter. When I try to start the engine nothing happens. I have to keep trying and finally it does start and then runs fine. Do I just need to replace my fuel filter?

Hi:
when you have the problem, check for power to the starter. Have a helper turn the key to the start position and check for power to the small wire on the starter. You should get 12 volts. Let me know what you find.
