How can I test our seat belts to make sure they work? The passenger side (3 point) belt snugs up across my hips and stays tight. The driver's side gives with movement. Should it tighten up?
Does it have anything to do with the fact that the driver's side has an airbag and the passenger side does not?

The seat belt shouldn't lock up until there is impact. If the passanger side is tight and won't release, you should replace it.
