1995 Dodge Ram Poor Gas Mileage

V10, 1995, Ram 2500

my truck is getting very poor mileage- about 9.5 in town. I was getting about 11 around town(normal). Fuel pump started to fail - replaced it.

AT same time no heat low temp. Replaced thermostate- heat back.
Mileage drop seemed to occur after fuel pump was replaced but before thermostate.

No Error codes.

IF the thermostat had been sticking open, it will cause a longer warm up period and eat up gas.

With this being the colder season, there will be a fuel mileage drop.
