My trucks' catalytic converter was cut off before i bought the truck, so were the leads to the oxygen sensor. Does the oxygen sensor play a roll with my cat and what are some ways of fixing it?

PCM look for O2 sensors to adjust fuel ratio
you need to install new catalytic converter
and most shop can help you install new o2 adapters
