I have a 95 dodge ram, I put in a new fuel pump and cleaned the tank, checked fuses, and ran injector cleaner thru it, but everytime I take my foot off the accelerator at slow speeds it dies, or at a set speed say 60mph it backfires and dies or is left to idle for 10min or so it dies, I dont know what to do, when at slow speed when I take my foot off pedal the rpms just fall almost to zero sometimes the come back up most times it just goes dead

Check your T.P.S. (Throttle position sensor), timing, spark, and fuel delivery at the engine.

One other thing, check the cat. Converter. If it is plugged their may be too much back pressure from the exhaust into the engine. 10 mins. Even at an idle with a plugged converter will cause major problems. Since it has to get out anyway it can, it will usually start blowing gaskets and your main seals. So now you'll also have an oil leak to fix too. Main seal labor is expensive.
