My truck's headlights have gone out, I've checked the fuses, and the lights themselves. The dimmer switch appears to be working because the dash lights and fog lights come one when I pull it out, could it just be a loose wire? and if so where should I start to look for those?

welcome to the forum, did you check voltage circuit to the headlamps? Violet with white tracer is voltage for low beam. Red wire white tracer is voltage for high beam. Turn on the headlamp switch, use a testlite on the circuit, see if voltage? If you have good voltage, check black wire, that is ground. If no voltage, we'll have to check feed to headlamp switch and dimmer.
