will a 1999 trany out of a long bed work in a 95 short bed both are 1/2 ton 4 wheel drives

We always recommend using direct fit parts because there are so many things that can differ with sensors. Will it bolt in? It most likely will, but make sure all of the old trans sensor will work in the new trans and even then you may end up with electrical issues.
