I have been having problems with my truck, at first anytime I used remote start very often it would die after running for a while and sometimes start right away sometimes not for few hours. Now it shut down completely and won't start even with keybut does turn over, changed all wires plugs new catalytic conv. New fuel pump as well, any ideas of what to look for next?

Have you checked fuel pump pressure and for spark?

I realize you replaced many parts, but chances are one of them are missing and I need to know which one.

I have checked for fuel pressure as well as spark. There is correct pressure but no spark to coil or distributor. I have hooked it up to diagnostic computer and it said it was the crankshaft sensor so I replaced that and it still didnt work. The remote start I have is malfunctioning I believe and telling the auto shutdown relay to nit allow a spark but I dont know how to remove that or fix the problem

If you have an aftermarket remote start, I'm not sure what to tell you. I really don't know brands, types, styles. However, I don't know why it would shut down spark unless it has an aftermarket security system too.

Are you sure the crank sensor is good?

Crank sensor was just replaced with everything else and still no spark. But yes the remote start does have an after market alarm system as well. Its an autopage and I found a kill switch but I don't think its working. The first time I used the killswitch it worked everytime after it wouldn't allow spark

That sounds like the problem. However, I never heard of that brand and know nothing about it. If you can figure out how to remove it, I would recommend it unless there is a store near you that can provide a schematic or assistance.
